Sandcastle competition??!!

Sometimes, Civil Engineering tries too hard to make the academic more interesting. Well, i must say that it's quite fun to make a fool of ourselves thru' Sandcastle competition, while trying to fulfil the requirement for a particular module
Materials provided: Dry sand (no water allowed) and newspapers
So we are supposed to come with ideas on how to stack the sand to reach the maximum height, withstand the most surface load and lateral force by a GIGANTIC "pendulum bob". wow, sounds so technical. Check out the ugly sandcastle that we built?! Don't they just look like piles of garbage?
