and so... i saw this Mathematics question on the wall today:A guy went into the convenient store and purchased 4items. He paid $7.11 for all the items and asked the owner of the store how the total amount was derived.The owner replied that it is the addition of the prices of the 4 items. However, the guy understood calculated the total by the multiplication of the prices of the 4items and luckily, the 2figures tally. So what are the 4 prices?i can only form 2equations but how to get 4unknowns. Algebra... anyone?
