8 things i realized about Canadians aft being here for a wk 3) Students here are so spontaneous. They will fill up the first row in class and rush to answer every single question that the instructor ask. (luckily, when i asked my housemate if the students here really know thier stuff when they do that, he said more often than not, this happens more frequently durinbg the first 2wks of school) 8) Canadians who are ard my enjoys drinkin an equivalentof 3bottles of beer while watching t.v on a school Day regardless of early class the Day. beer is selling at about $1CAD each

1) The people here are so helpful that they they will hold the door for you if they r walking in front of you, EVEN if they are 20m ahead. There was this instant when i have to run to the door cos this kind soul was holding the door and waiting for me.
2) Even if there's no stopline, zebra-crossing or traffic lights, most*considerate
car drivers may stop for you to cross when they see pedestrians waiting.
4) Lecturers actually use the word f**k during teaching.
5) yOU don't have to ask for help on the streets. If any canadian see that you have this puzzled look, they'll just walk up to you and offer their help.
6) Shopping malls close promptly at 5pm on Sunday!!! Even if you are really keen to buy and are just deciding the sizes, the sales person don't want to wait.(or perhaps it's not their shop afterall)
7) The casual greetings of the locals are too long.. i just said "bye" to my housemate. and they will reply with "yeah, seeyou later. hope you have a great day in school!"... oops... i just answered "ok, bye"!!!
